Do we need to buy dissection kits for BIOL1003?

Could someone please kindly answer :) I emailed the lecturer (initials O.L, not sure if youre allowed to say people's names here) and she says to watch the Lecture 1 recording =.= Lady, I was at that lecture, and I'm not rewatching the whole thing just to find out if I need to buy a kit...

Anyone else's uni experience like this?

Well for me, as a first year, I have managed to make one solid friend at Uni, whom I've met up with for lunch a couple times already. We don't even have any classes together, I just started talking to her while I was walking. Other than that, some HS friends are at my Uni who I have lunch with...

Ohhh, so I don't have to do anything? It's just there?

    How does SA-HELP work?

I'm a bit confused right now... I've applied for SA-HELP however I don't know what that entails. Can I just go to the campus book store and tell them I'm on SA-HELP and then I don't have to pay for the textbooks till later? Surely it can't be that simple.

    Does USyd have o-camp?

I hear some of the other Unis have an orientation camp, which sounds really fun in my opinion, and was wandering if USyd does anything similar? Thanks.

Future prospects for Australian Law students and graduates?

This is probably a naive question, but why do so many people want to do Law when the field is so saturated?

Full time Uni AND full time work?

Aw :( It all seems so impossible... I really don't want to go part-time though because I want to transfer next year into another course I'd much rather do... if I did do part-time how would they consider a transfer next year? Would it be just based on my HSC atar? Edit: Or, what if I did two...

Full time Uni AND full time work?

@Blue Suede: Okay... I might consider going part-time. Is it possible to go part-time for the first 4 weeks then switch to full-time? :P

Full time Uni AND full time work?

Hmm, there seem to be mixed responses about this, should I also mention I can work on Saturday and so potentially not have to work one day from Mon-Fri? Maybe work 9-6 on Sat and maybe that'll lessen the hours I have to work during the week?

Full time Uni AND full time work?

Hi guys, so I'm in a bit of a predicament. I've recently been offered a trial for a full time job which would be in Ultimo, working 35-40 hrs/week. If I were to get the job, I would also be doing 4 subjects (chemistry, biology, economics, analytical thinking) at USyd at the same time. Now I...

    What WAM would I need?

I got an offer for Liberal Arts and Science at USYD. I'm going to accept it and hope to transfer after a year into either an engineering degree or a health science degree (such as pharmacy) at either USYD or UNSW. What WAM would I need in order to stand a chance of transferring with an ATAR of 73.2?
