I know how to do the last one but I don't have time since I have to go somewhere now. So I'll type it up at night.

    Hardest Subject?

based on how difficult I perceived my year 11 subjects to be: from hardest to easiest, Economics, Japanese Continuers, ESL, Physics, Chemistry, Maths Extension

    year 11 physics.

Work and energy are, strictly speaking, a bit different. Basically, energy is used to do work. Work done is the result of application of energy. Hence, energy is more of an abstract concept - something that allows work to be done. Work is just what you can see in the end.

2009 HSC English Texts - What are you studying?

I only learnt very basic stuff before coming here. I.e. about how much people would learn if they do language continuers for their HSC. For this reason, I hated English and history (particularly textbooks that goes on and on about an event..) in year 9 and 10. Btw, my first language is Korean.

2009 HSC English Texts - What are you studying?

LOL.. I came to Australia about 3 and a half years ago. That's why. (To be elligible for ESL English, one will have to have stayed here for less than 5 years until the end of HSC year.)

    UAI estimates for 2009

Well, if exams become more difficult, everyone will find them hard anyway. So I think the difficulty of exams doesn't matter much.

    integrating sinxcosx

No. It's for the same reason as why c does not affect the value of definite integrals. Constants get eliminated since [c]=+c-c=0.
  15. study-freak

    Tangent of trig

    LOL at this
  16. study-freak

    How hard are your exams?

Same here. But funnily (and extraordinarily as it never happened before) in half yearly, two people got 100% and the third was 90% at my school.

    UNSW med cut-off

Hmm... Well, they will have plenty of chance in the interview (if I get to have one) to assess my English skills so I guess it doesn't matter.
  18. study-freak

    UNSW med cut-off

But do they get to know that i did ESL english? I hope not. It's unlikely that they can see what level of English I did unless UAC tells them.

    UAI estimates for 2009

You forgot to mention the holiday schedules. In Korea, there are dormitory tutoring colleges where students are forced to study the entire holiday living in the colleges.
