Unfortunately you cannot claim transport costs to and from your place of work as tax deductions (ie, petrol, public transport etc). You can only claim transport costs if they were "incidental and relevant" to the performance of your job (ie, you are courier, or a pizza delivery driver)

If all else fails, run. I remember I had a QMB final exam at randwick a few years ago which I was late to. As a last resort I caught an 891 from central and ran all the way down the hill to the exam (missed 5 mins of reading time)

Yeah, as phrred said, $20k for the whole program (1.5 yrs fulltime) Can be reduced through exemptions (ie if you've done BCom, you can get all the introductory subjects exempted I think - thus saving more money)

I don't get it though, Iran has a right, as a soverign nation, to enrich uranium for energy production. What's America's problem? Of course it's ok for Israel, China and India/Pakistan, not to mention America themselves, to have nuclear weapons, but not Iran?

I guess it should come down to personal preference, if the money is similar per hour. The experience, the status, the challenge of an IB, or the mundane, relatively relaxed work of an accounting firm.
