    B Combined Law/Science at USYD

Hmm, it should be possible for you to do that, although I really wouldn't have a clue whether you could. Suppose other people will just have to answer your query in a better manner :) Also, good luck, I'm taking the Law/Science path as well :uhhuh: See you around this year :)

    Enrolment for Combined Law 2008

Enrolment was fine, just the waiting in lines bit for an hour at a time that took a toll on me :o Finished with the law component around 1, then took another 4 hours finishing up the science component :( I finished with Stage 2 enrolments around 4:50, and just could not be bothered getting the...

    Question on Result

It is difficult to get a raw exam mark of 95% or more in the HSC exam paper (although that can be questioned for the papers of the last few years), however it is less difficult to get an aligned HSC exam mark of 95, which is what is being considered in this particular case. I probably only...

Does your subject impact on your UAI results?

Your scaled aggregate mark is calculated using the raw exam marks you achieve in the HSC exams and the moderated HSC assessment marks. The fact that you did not do the SC has no bearing on this. The assumption I'm making (which can be wrong) is that they will rank you relative to the year 10...

How much work should have be done during these holidays.

Plus it gives her more time to iron out the problems with the major work and make it perfect :) Maybe I should've done that with my project ... :o

    Standard English Band 6

Not to mention that the maximum UAI achieved by a student doing ESL in 2007 was 99.95, so yes, definitely possible :uhhuh: Source: http://www.uac.edu.au/pubs/pdf/2007_table_A1.pdf

    Question on Result

Ok, my bad, didn't know about that particular program. But that program does sound interesting, might look into it.

How much work should have be done during these holidays.

I had 3 months in which to research and write all sorts of drafts and notes for my Cosmology major work before the holidays in which the project was due on the last Friday of the holidays. Guess how much work I did before those holidays :o Barely started.

Does your subject impact on your UAI results?

That's the year 10 cohort that you, as a person completing their HSC in 2008, are a part of, as the vast majority of those who did the SC in 2006 will finish their HSC in 2008.
  10. S

Does your subject impact on your UAI results?

Your UAI would be ranked against those who did the SC in 2006, I would think.

    Year 11 Equipment/Resources

Good luck if you fall onto the cacti below :p Hmm, I'd have to listen to more of them before I could judge that :uhhuh:

    simple maximisation/minisation question

I'm amazed I still know this stuff, I last learnt this around 2 years ago, and probably did this type of question only a couple times last year :uhhuh: kooltrainer, I definitely recommend that you take on sslgain as a tutor, she is obviously talented at maths and will help you improve in the...

    simple maximisation/minisation question

    Co-ordinates of O - (0, 0) [Taken this as an assumption, but unless defined otherwise, O is usually taken to be the point of origin on the Cartesian plane] Co-ordinates of P - (x1, y1), y = 4x+3 When x = x1, y = 4x1+3, hence y1 = 4x1+3 Therefore co-ordinates of M (midpoint of OP) is...
