Mod A (Donne & Wit): good, just had to change some of the phrasing in my memorised essay:
Mod B (Hamlet): awesome, perfectly worked with my thesis
Mod C (Brave New World): probably the hardest of all the questions, but not too bad
Overall, very happy :D
All I'm hoping is that the Hamlet question isn't ridiculous, and that we don't have to use two related texts for Mod C
Also, how are y'all accessing past CSSA papers? Aren't they like super strict about their distribution?
Get a better pen if you're not using a good one. The impact of bad-quality pens (e.g. kilometrico) upon speed of handwriting is different for different people, but for me it has made a big impact
I probably wouldn't do that, especially if it's a related text, because the quote that you give actually needs to exemplify the technique you give for it
Same, plus I couldn't see how I could really draw that much meaning out of it
Lol for section 1, I accidentally only spent 30 mins on it @ the beginning of the exam, and then went back later and had to do asterisks and write extra stuff.
It's a relief to know that I'll only have to do 1 short...
Literally what I was thinking while reading it
A castle though, I'm pretty sure. I don't think I actually said this though, I'm pretty sure I just referred to "climbimg"
Alright I'm signing off for tonight to try and get some decent sleep
good luck everyone for tomorrow, remember this exam only counts for about 1% of your whole HSC so even if you do crap it doesn't really matter that much
& pls pray that I can find a decent pen tomorrow morning to get me thru...
Include both aspects in your response; all of the discovery aspects are interlinked, hence you can link them together. e.g. if the paper is generally based around the challenging/affirmations of assumptions about the human experience, you could say something like:
Text X creatively explores the...
True, but all the pens I already have are really horrible cheap ball point pens
I'll be able to find something half decent tomorrow morning @ the newsagent to get me thru the exam and then later in the day I'll buy my preferred pen
Guess what just happened everyone...
my new (1 week old) roller ball pen that I have been using because it's super smooth and comfy just ran out. Yes that's right it RAN OUT JUST THEN, 12.5 hrs before trials
Lol I'm gonna have to go to the newsagent in the morning before the exam and hope to...
gl to everyone starting trials tomorrow. These exams aren't the end of the world; remember that at the end of the day they only make up around 15-20% of your final HSC marks. Also remember that everyone else in the state is tired and low on motivation right now too; what makes the difference is...
The potassium ion has already been oxidised to its (effectively) maximum oxidation state by the acid, hence we can be confident that it won't oxidise again
+1
e.g., an increase in temperature leads to a decreased solubility of CO2(g), because the reaction is exothermic and the CO2 molecules have less ability to become 'trapped' within water molecules, because everything is vibrating more energetically
Re: MX2 2015 Integration Marathon
Yeah I got that too and couldn't find a way to evaluate. Then I looked on wolfram alpha as Ekman did and noted that it used the logarithmic integral
