    Complex locus help

I get what you are saying and I knew that you were talking about this when you stated your answer above, but if that corresponds to arg(z-1) = arg(z+1 ) - 3pi/4, it still satisfies the original equation, right?

    Complex locus help

But I have tested points on circles that are outside of your range, but are in my range and it worked. Hence I think mine is right?

    Complex locus help

I didn't do it geometrically though. I was waiting for someone (actually, OP) to confirm that it's right first.

    Complex locus help

    I got x^2+(y-1)^2=2, x^2+(y+1)^2=2 excluding (1,0), (-1,0).

Do ESL students do the Area of Study

LOL at this thread. Just look at the Board of Studies website and the answer (yes) is obvious.

Question about Inertial Frames... Please Help!

1st Q: Mass dilation and length contraction applies only when an object moving relative to an observer is seen by the observer. Hence, if you look at the object (you are the observer), you can figure out your frame's motion, in which case you already referred to an outside frame of reference...

    Beginnging of Year 12

No worries and yea, it's just the beginning as your title for this thread says. No one (except those who didn't do assessment tasks at all) has failed yet.

    Beginnging of Year 12

You still can get a very good result in the end (as in ATAR), but to do so, you need to work hard to improve your skills and knowledge in this holiday. This holiday is quite long so you'll have plenty of time to both procrastinate and do work. Whichever you choose to do depends on your...

    Maintaining your Year 11 rankings...

School rank prob plays a role in this, but with harder work than in Year 11, it is definitely possible to maintain Year 11 ranks in Year 12. I am not saying it's easy though, but I managed to maintain my ranks for all my subjects except 1 up in Physics (since I didn't do 4u in Year 11! lol..).

does the school find out our ATAR?

LOL, I think if the principal isn't stupid, he/she would ask for a hard copy of the certificate with ATAR on it.

    Back Emf

No worries and thanks for the luck because I might need it!
  12. study-freak

    Back Emf

not necessarily. It depends on what you mean by 'overload.' If it's to a degree that motor burns down lol, it wouldn't need to be like that. Just to the degree that current through the rotor is large enough (due to reduced back emf) to cause heat damage.
  13. study-freak

    Back Emf

Yep, when it is overloaded, there is a counter torque as you said. So it would be Net torque=torque due to current-counter torque due to load
  14. study-freak

    Back Emf

Back emf is the induced emf in a motor due to Faraday's law in action in the rotor coil that is moving in an external magnetic field (stator magnet's field). Hence when the rotor is overloaded, it slows down, meaning that the net relative motion between the conductor (rotor) and the magnetic...

    The God of Maths

lol, I thought the god would get 100% and 1st rank in everything. It seems some humans can surpass the god.

    Awesome GODLIKE Tutor

LOL Is there anything that will support your claim that your tutoring is "GODLIKE"?

    med interviews

lol yea, sooo true. I haven't actually seen any Caucasian interviewees too. Only interviewers and uni students And I guess I did pretty well. Hard to know though
