    Internet filtering: You can't opt-out

And yet the majority of perfectly legal porn websites would be at risk of being added to the filter and one could reasonably expect any such porn site reported to the filter to be added, one at a time. Quite an environment of ambiguity, risk, and unfairness. Not to mention this would clearly be...

    Internet filtering: You can't opt-out

No, the 'filter' will be for everyone, and compulsory. It's called censorship. It will also block 95% of porn websites out there since most are Refused Classification in Australia, even though they are legal. Other things it will block are euthanasia and abortion material (both for and...

    Internet filtering: You can't opt-out

The rhetoric coming out of Rudd and Conroy in relation to this is truly disgusting. It really turns me off voting for them. It's all about thuggery, lies and intimidation rather than an honest 'this is a policy we believe in and will push for and here's why'.

    Who will you vote for?

Don't waste your vote just to spite the major parties - they don't care and realistically it changes nothing. Spend it on the minor parties (Greens, Sex, LDP) instead and the major party you think least likely to form government (i.e. the Liberals) to weaken the major players as much as possible...

    Who will you vote for?

Federally it is 3 year terms with some leeway. State it is 4 year terms I think.

    Who will you vote for?

I don't fucking know. Both Labour and Liberals are equally abhorrent options. If Malcolm Turnbull was around I'd vote Greens and preference the Libs, but now... fuck, Abbott is twice as bad as Rudd, and at least I agree with Rudd some of the time. But Rudd is all gung-ho about censorship. Sigh.

Which people dominate media and the banking system worldwide?

But what do they control besides a bunch of brain-washed rice farmers and a dozen nuclear weapons? On a serious note, though, a large economy is not representative of such control, especially true for an economy which is large mainly because of sheer population mass. Fact of the matter is that...

What will be banned by the filter (not an exhaustive list by any means):

    Internet filtering: You can't opt-out

I can't find the article I was referring to but this one is just as troubling: Abbott drawn into filter debate - News - Communications - ZDNet Australia What a fuckwit.

    Internet filtering: You can't opt-out

Only in the same way that if the Greens supported it (which they don't) it would make the Liberals irrelevant. Both the Greens and the Liberals are necessary to block this legislation. Unfortunately Abbott is positioning the Liberals to support the censorship instead. Who didn't see that coming?

Which people dominate media and the banking system worldwide?

No offence, but the Chinese control dick-all of nothing, and even that is only because the British gave them Hong Kong.

Oh no, the anarchist brigade is here!

Inspired by which divine being? Mr Hanky The Christmas Poo, perhaps?
