Food Gets hectic if you are on chips but everything else is a complete bludge.

My thermo tutes are ridiculous. Its one giant room with like nearly everyone in there, and maybe 3 tutors walking around. There is no one at the board you know, explaining questions. Getting help from a tutor is nearly impossible. Fucking stupid and pointless. No wonder it has a 40% fail rate.

General maths will not prepare you one bit for uni maths. 2U might prepare you a tiny bit but uni maths will still be very rough on you. Best to do 3U atleast. If you can't do 3U then IMO you simply can't do engineering maths unless you really love maths (don't know why you'd do < 3U though) and...

I got a HD in higher physics last year, but only because of the second half which covered electricity/magnetism which I found relatively easy. Thermo+mechanics in the first half raped me, I got 67 in my mid sem :uhoh: Very odd how they're doing the tutorials this year.
