Hmm well isn't someone confident, there's specific syllabus and outcomes you need to meet when doing every exam . . even CAFS. Eventhough the course is based on general knowledge, there's still particular shitty outcomes you need to meet to get the higher band marks. So no, you can't just do it...

Re: Excel revision books and study guides? My teachers said they should only be a starting point for your studies, to validate your ideas etc. If you go into learning prepared arguments in those books word for word, you are not satisfying outcomes. I agree the General Maths one is alright...
