I have an assessment, and i cannot for the life of me find any information. on significant influences that have had an impact on how individuals perceive work, we havn't covered it yet AND
My text book AND/OR the excel book doesnt have any information in it and is not helping me.
The task is:

Describe the significant influences that have had an impact on how individuals perceive work and discuss the impact of social factors on changing work patterns.

it only has to be 750 words which seems ridiculous, i dont know what the most important info IS.

Any information, or guidance would help
Thankyou !!

Well Look at the Syllabus.

Social Factor leading to changing work patterns
- education/ retraining
-technology: computers, automation, research and development
- employment/ unemployment
- perceptions of gender
- family circumstances including structural change
- government policy
- economics

However for the first part, I searched the syllabus and nothing was there which alluded to that. However I think it fits in Perceptions of gender, and socialization. e.g. females traditionally > "maternal professions "nurses and teachers" While Males > "Traditional" professions: Engineers, Blue-collar & White-collar professions etc > refers to the male as a "breadwinner". Also include your beliefs like professions which are seen to involve long periods of study and training in some circumstances are more highly valued. However research also states that Australians value professions which help others e.g. Paramedics, Firefighters, Teachers.

I hope that helps. P.S This question is a tad complex i understand where your coming from, i would think this should be broken down into two questions. However BOS has given a guideline for students that a "15" mark question which iam assuming its modeled on should be around 600 words or about 3 - 4 HSC pages. So If you are to the point, don't waffe you should be alright. I mean you can do dot points like in PDHPE. So try it and double check with your teacher before you do a final submission.
