Help me prove this standard form please

It's easier if you use hyperbolic functions. But that's 1st year uni material.

    Unfortunately, unlike *everyone*, I had work. Yeah tell me about it ==;

How did the aether model violate the principle of relativity?

Funny thing is that the interference effect isn't even in the syllabus but you're expected to mention it when explain the Michelson-Morley experiment. Talking about rote learning ==; You learn about it in 1st year university Physics (PHYS1B if you're at UNSW).

So I've fallen in love with the cover girl of the Good Universities Guide 2011...

So am I. But I make an effort to socalise sometimes. If you're becoming obsessed with some girl's face printed on a magazine then there is something wrong with you and thus should take action...

what was your first day at uni like??

Hahahaha... "hot chicks"... My first day of uni was not too bad. It was computing ^^. I had at least 7 people from my high school doing the same course as me so I didn't really make new friends in semester one. I actually did make a good friend in S1 though. But the probability of us actually...

how do you differentiate inverse cosecx

This would usually come under 'harder 3U' in MX2.

Question on writing note for Sciences.

Good teachers don't force you to write notes and hand it in etc. Those kinds of teachers that insist that you do that are usually the hopeless kind (and usually don't have much experience in teaching). Good teachers usually write out notes (ie. their own notes (usually sourced from various...

The ones involving factorials are my favourite :P

Who does every single question in the Cambridge textbook?

Never used Cambridge for MX1. Was Coroneos all the way for me, mostly because one of the good maths teachers at my school was a big fan of it.

2 Unit Revising Marathon HSC '11

I've seen that Q before. Probably the 2009 CSSA. Here's an interesting Q: Prove 3/4+5/36+7/144+9/400+11/900+...= 1 EDIT: Noticed previous Q not solved yet. As before, eq'n of tangent is y=x/e Now due to geometry of figure (ie. tangent lies above curve), (x/e) >= ln x (with equality occuring...

physics paper thoughts if anyone remembers.

"gravitational pull at the L2 point". That is the slingshot effect.

physics paper thoughts if anyone remembers.

You really are a fool. How many friends do you have?

physics paper thoughts if anyone remembers.

Q24 is the slingshot effect. ie. Indeed it appear that Kepler's laws are being violated as r^3/T^2 is a constant value and 'r' is greater for the JWST. But JWST orbits near the Earth and so experiences gravitational attraction towards the Earth (as Earth has a much greater mass than the JWST)...
