Re: What ATAR are you aiming for and realistically, what do you think you will get? aiming for 99.55+ to get into combined law at USyd studied quite a lot during the holidays and if i remain consistent during the year i'm confident i can get that high :)

the scaling for general math is extremely bad. the subject is capped and you can only get a max of a 91 scaled mark but then again your ATAR aim is relatively low compared to a lot of other people on the site; so you should be fine and have nothing to worry about :)

most definitely i will have read my essay on the computer, print it out and while I'm studying for it I find a tiny grammatical error and won't continue unless I re-print my work with the grammatical change

"School assessments count towards half your Atar , so if you are not getting above 90, don’t expect your atar to be above 75" I was told that the most important thing is your rank and the marks in between your rank; not necessarily your own individual mark correct me if i'm wrong

i type mine first then write them my typed notes are generally large chunks of information word by word from the text book. then when I write them out I condense it further :)

haha same here both my older sisters and dad work as brokers, marketing managers/directors and I can finally understand what they're talking about :) most probably my favourite subject, a shame it scales so low though

history extension? your ranks are relatively good in all your other subjects so i guess that would be the most logical choice
