Bit misleading though. He was a garbo while doing a honours degree in English Lit at USYD. Anyway, you would be surprised by how many respectable career paths do not require a bachelor degree. TAFE or any other community college is always a solid option despite the stigma.

I would presume that the staff have access to a dynamic database of students in their tute, otherwise it would seem rather neolithic. Besides, if you just show them a print out of your timetable and you aren't on the class list, they will happily add you from past experience.

You also have to take into account that the workload for a group assignment is set accordingly so that maximum marks can only be achieved by effort from multiple individuals.

When you say enrolling for next semester, do you mean the one coming up next week or Semester 1 in 2012?

You aren't able to do that over MyUni but going to a timetable advisor provided you have an acceptable reason, should allow you to obtain a more desirable timetable if spots are available in those classes.

Marks are fitted to a bell curve so you may find that your unit may have been particularly difficult in this case.

Cheers, thanks for the heads up. I'm not too sure how Intermediate Macro is going to pan out considering I will be doing it in Semester 2 but if it is anything like Introductory Macro, I'm going to find it difficult.

You could always choose to do a general degree like B. Science and then either transfer to another degree or just establish your majors.

Just an extra note for the toilets in Heydon Laurence, There are showers adjacent to the urinals and the walls are painted blood red. Very quaint.

The universities hit you hard for plagiarism if you fail to cite works in assignments from sources such as journal articles. I would find it hard to comprehend university markers scouring the internet to find if you plagiarised on a written exam. Good to see there's another Toon Supporter...
