nah.. if say you are printing from adobe acrobat. in the little text box near the top right type -Pname.sgl where name is the name of the printer. this will do it single sided without a watermark. .dup does double sided without watermark. the thing that really sucks is it appears some fonts...

Yeah a lot of software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, the likes..) only comes out on Windows..

yes your raw assessment mark does have a minimal role.. and that is because it has no standards assigned to it. they just use your schools performance in the hsc to work out the standard of your school assessments..

my workspace is heaps more messy than any of these. i have books and white paper everywhere..

That's a shoddy system if it adds it too a bill. The CSE method is best, you get given like 500+ free pages, if you want more you pay then they give you more. If you try to print and you have none left then it shouldn't let you. I think that person should somehow reimburse you for their printing.

that's because there is no cd. there may be an instructors cd or something though.

oh yeh. i see. i much rather prefer solving problems when i have at least several days to work on it, and with books/internet to research with, and a decent computer system that can help me.

I love MS Office 2007. Much better than 2003, imo. The UI takes about a day to get used to. After that everything is much simpler and faster. Unfortunately MS Office ain't available for linux, so i can't use it atm.

I guess it really depends on what you want to do. The only reason I would install Vista is so I could use DX10 (for better graphics in some games), and perhaps just to see for my self what its like. PS. I would really recommend installing a small linux partition. It comes in really handy if XP...

Yeah.. In short they are both important. Just say you get 40% but come first. Now assuming the teacher has marked and set the exam correctly and to decent standards, is you 40% justified by coming first? I say no. If you get 40% then (assuming the above) it is BAD. Rankings are good to look...

This is very very true. And to a large extent I would agree with them.
