Hello,

I joined the community a few days ago, I would have posted this earlier but there were troubles receiving my activation email, and then other issues such as it wouldn't identify me as a premium member. Anyhow I was looking around the forum and I don't exactly understand where I should post for help? I mean there are ones for New South Whales and Victoria but no Western Australia? Then I look at general and still don’t look relevant. So I'm here to ask.

Where do I post to get help for Physics?
Where do I post to get help for Chemistry?
Where do I post to get help for Economics?
Where do I post to get help for English 2A/2B?
Where do I post to get help for Introductory Calculus?
Where do I post to get help for Political and Legal Studies?

Also... are there any coding forums? I saw IT Central but the discussion is well not coding orientated. When I say coding I mean web development in general but for other people maybe compiler / interrupter languages.

Anyhow any help is appreciated and thank you in advice.

Hi there,

You are from WA?

There is an interstate forum at http://community.boredofstudies.org/forumdisplay.php?f=304

However much to your dismay you will see that the most recent post from any other state was October 2007.

Unfortunately there are not many people out there from WA who post on this site.

See if you can get more people from WA to visit the forum.

I'm not sure what you should do in your situation, because posting WA based questions in NSW or VIC forums would probably not be good. Lets see what other mods have to say.

These forums are mostly NSW orientated, and somewhat VIC included. There isn't much activity going on in the other states because the word hasn't spread about BOS in those areas.

You could try posting in the HSC forums for Physics, CHem, eco, possibly intro calculus, and also your legal studies, but don't be surprised if most of the members can't answer your question unless it is really general.

If you are looking for a coding forum, I suggest you try like a world wide forum for computer related thing.

Feel free to post your problems in NSW forums. Especially the NSW maths forums are vibrant and well-monitored. As for coding, you can post that in the IT section, the university general IT section, or the NSW Software Design and Development coding section (probably your best bet). Generally university students peruse the high school NSW subject forums, so if something is a bit beyond HSC syllabus scope, you'll probably still get a decent answer. English literature is easy because the only thing that changes is the texts, not the analysis techniques, so I'd suggest the HSC English Advanced and Extension 1 English forums.

I can help you with your coding if you, like, too, if it is Java, Haskell, Python, C++, or web stuff (X/HTML).

Thank you everyone for your replies. I will keep in mind on the replies on where to post and thank you Slidey personally for offering to help me with coding and I will take you up on that offer as I'm interested in learning Python, C++, Java and Ruby. So any help is appreciative.

I know this is based around study, I just despise being a member to multiple forums thus I want an all in one solution. I hope they don't mind me posting in the NSW forum.
