Overall thoughts: A fair paper. - MC was a little harder than my trials and past papers - Short answer seemed ok, lots of skills / application as well as remembering information, which I liked - Communication - I think I did ok. Not great but definitely ok.

I think it was a data logger :)

They did a question on transgenic species last year I think so I doubt they would do it again.

I always use the 3 hours, I'm slow :) Some exams I struggle to finish in time, others I have a few minutes to look back at what I have written and jot something else down. What about you?

I have the Oxford, Heinemann, Excel, Macquarie and Dot Point HSC Biology. They all have their pros and cons, and are useful for different purposes - that's why I have so many. It's really whichever suits you best I guess.

Perhaps I'm wrong but I think you would need to have informed the exam supervisor on the day.

Has anyone else found that the Multiple Choice on Board of Studies for Bio isn't working properly today?? I get halfway through a test, then it freezes and won't go to the next question or give results.

From my understanding, the picture above shows a curve of best fit but a line of best fit would be straight. Maybe I have got it wrong?

If you can't do a detailled diagram, just learn a rough one (eg. for the eye mine just has aqueous humour, vitreous humour, lens and cornea marked). It's better than nothing.

Agreed - usually General Maths gets harder as you go further into the paper but that wasn't as true this year.
