Starting off with business - Ready?

Think about it would you rather learn your content or do your past papers? the more content you know, the better chance u have at the exam - so if you're running out of time and you haven't done past papers, dw, just be happy that you learn't all the content and BREATHE!

HSC English --> Ask your questions

first or third person is both OK. 2nd person is a NO NO! third person can be harder to do, but if used well, works at ur advantage.. first person is relatively easy to do and will definitely provides engagement!

14 -15? my guess is a low B - because high B's and A's engage with the question effectively

what do you all think about a poem for your creative writing piece?

not the best choice you can do a short story, memoir, diary entry, feature article - but poem would be the thing you would do if you have no choice and you are desperate to get something done (i.e. in my opinion)

anyone else feel like they just wanna eat?

that's what the HSC does to you. I don't know how much of weight I gained but I went up two dress sizes, but I remember for Christmas I was able to get back into my dress - (but I watched very carefully what I ate) haha... so u'll get back to normal after the HSC :) All the best

    Faking critic quotes

if it is for module B, they are not keen on the whole critic quote thing. you don't get extra quotes for doing so, nor do you get penalised. so if you haven't learnt one, don't bother too much!

    Is FergHSC any good??!?

I haven't tried it personally, but I read a review sometime back that said they were good. You are not going to get a response here, you will have to post it in the 2011 general discussion forum, so that someone who has used their services can let you know. Better yet, I would consider writing...

HSC English --> Ask your questions

3- 4 seems too long, may be do one line summarising very briefly the plot outline. yes, the markers would no your prescribed texts, so don't do the whole retelling thing!

HSC English --> Ask your questions

with conflicting perspectives it becomes very messy if you alteranate so do: prescribe 1st and complete it and then move on to your related.. that should solve the problem, but however draw on the similarity that they both present conflicting perspectives on the same topic but may be privilege...

HSC English --> Ask your questions

as much as I'd like to say I didn't memorise my essays, truth be told I memorised mod A, mod C and belonging + creative. (basically everything except module B) as for me, the questions worked well, so I only had to add in some stuff to my introduction and conclusion and I made sure I made a...
