force them to do so many extracurriculars that they run out of energy by the end of the day :). that's the only viable way i see to actually stopping games/youtube.

but, tutoring makes it easier to get high b6s in maths. it saves time, because you're spoonfed what to do to reach high b6.
it obviously depends on the person, but i'm fairly sure I would have been able to work quite a lot of hours throughout yr 12 without my results being affected.

have a look at 2021 hsc x2 exam and then look at the qs in mif, and decide whether the two align in difficulty. in general, you want to be practicing things even harder than what you could expect in the hsc.
i mean if you got the balls, you can start a business right off the bat. but you probably do need somewhere to actually gain some experience/knowledge of the industry.
if you sweat hard enough, you would get a job at a multinational company and not some rando i would imagine.
