What syllabus points to include in question?

Thanks heaps! It is a take home assignment so no time limit however there is a 1400 word limit which is going to make it tough.

What syllabus points to include in question?

I have to do an assignment on operations, a business report with 2 case studies. The question is: Discuss operations strategies that are used to support the strategic role of operations management. So I have seen wording in HSC questions, sometimes it might say strategies that are used to...

    Managing time...

I wake up at 6, then exercise for half an hour and practice handwriting for half an hour. I find that I need the 9.5 hours in order to have enough energy, plus the exercise helps with energy as well. Then I shower, eat breakfast, make lunch etc. from 7 until 7.45 and I get to school around 8.15...

    Managing time...

So I am thinking of keeping SDD this year after all, meaning staying at 12 units. I get home at 4.30 and head to bed at 8.30. This only gives me 4 hours and includes dinner and breaks so I would say I can spend max 3 hours a weeknight on study. I know I head to bed early but to be honest it...

    swagmeister's HSC journey

This week I hit 2 hours of work most nights. One problem I am having is every time I see something in a textbook I think 'what if they ask that specific question in that specific way' and put it in my notes, meaning they are ridiculously long. This weekend for my focus I want to start my Eco...

    Globalisation

yup that's on the right track - it has affected people by allowing them to migrate, invest internationally etc. focus on those syllabus points - you can even have things like with technology, it has allowed family members to stay connected around the world. There is so much you could do!

    About studying

Back on topic, I only aim for 2 hours a night and 3 hours on weekends. Is this to low haha?

Hey, Just thought I would share some tips on how to do your best possible in the exam tomorrow. Chances are if you are still on BoS, you are a bit stressed and worried about tomorrow. I know I am a 2015er but a just wanted to share some advice and wish everyone good luck! Relax. If you...

    Help with a question?

Rita purchased a camera for $880 while on holidays in Australia. This price included 10% GST. When she left Australia she received a refund of the GST. What was her refund? I know its a simple question soz.....

Why do people think MIF is bad?

I dropped to general because of MIF..... (not really but I hated it so much I used the Cambridge one to supplement it)

    What technique is this?

Thanks so much! PS loved your English guide, I'm actually starting to enjoy the subject now. I guess I need to continue to practice and practice drumming out techniques from quotes. When you prepared with quotes and techniques, did you just list the quote and technique or the affect as well?

    swagmeister's HSC journey

Ahh English, how I love spendong 40 minutes making notes and only getting through 5 of the 200 pages. And I was focused as well. Maybe I shouldn't be recording characters feelings and that kind of thing? Still struggling so much but I will keep getting better :)

    What technique is this?

Struggling with the techniques for these two quotes, can someone plz help? 1. “They believed, in short, that they held in their steady hands the candle that would light the world” 2. “So their self-denial, their purposefulness, their suspicion of all vain pursuits, their hard-handed...

    Subject selection

Don't worry about the amount of content, drop the one your are least passionate about because if you enjoy business and are getting over 90s the content won't be an issue
  17. S

    What do I do?

OK well if you are doing well in Chem and passionate about it I would keep it regardless of the workload cause like I said it will seem like less work then an 'easier' subject which you don't enjoy but obviously still up to you.

    swagmeister's HSC journey

So today I didn't get that much done, really just English which I spent a good 3.5 hours on - there was this big homework task I didn't include in my planning. Either way it is a subject I tend to avoid so pretty happy with that. Didn't really get to reflect and prepare for the week ahead that...

    What do I do?

Yeah ok. What I would say is: -Try to see it from your parents point of view. If you can show them that you understand their opinion and have listened to them without interrupting, they are more likely to be open to negotiation -it sounds like you did above average in chemistry then, while not...

    General Maths Marathon 2014

Maybe for next year, but although I'm just starting the HSC I wanted to do this anyway. I guess it is a bit late though with the HSC exam for 2014ers in three days - if it gets no replies I'll rename it after then :)
