    Maybe 40-43..ish?

    General Thoughts: Music 2

LOLOL I know!! To be fair though, I listened to only half of the firework song and started to get a headache XD. People in Music 1 said the look on the face of the supervisors was priceless when the screaming started! In my exam, the old ladies were just bobbing along happily to the music...says...

    General Thoughts: English Extension 1

Hmm now that I think about it...maybe it was better off writing a solid band 6 essay rather than risking quality for quanitity. Personally, I get a bit superstitious when trying to predict my marks XD

    Section I

Hmm true, but that's the main reason I regretted it. Not sure if it applies to English but in History Extension I was taught that if they say "at least" to interpret it as basically saying "more than"

    General Thoughts: English Extension 1

True, but then it took me like 45 mins to do my creative and I started to regret not doing three since my essay took 1 hr to write, giving me and extra 15 mins I could have used to churn out one more paragraph.

    Section I

I didn't but feel I maybe should have.

    General Thoughts: English Extension 1

Loved the creative (did Crime Writing btw)...it fit my prepared story like hand in glove all I had to do was pretty much rewrite it the way it was, although I altered it to include a familial bond to make the connection more 'significant'. The essay was alright, was pretty rigorous but better...

    General Thoughts: Music 2

Yes same, but I personally knew I wouldn't be able to do it. When its a teacher playing really really slowly on the piano I can manage, but could never do any they have given in the HSC. No sorry, forgot to take the scores for some reason :/

One more tomorrow, English Extension. Can't wait until I hear "pens down" :D

    General Thoughts: Music 2

Any thoughts? It was a pretty fair exam I reckon. Question 1: Love Schubert, so it was pretty good. No surprises. Question 2: The Handel oboe concerto was beautiful...shame I couldn't transcribe it :( Question 3: Ehh fine but didn't like the 5 marker at the back, there was too much to talk...

    Need motivation

Two exams to go (Music/English Extension) and I'm slacking off big time :/ just so tired of the HSC.

What university are you going to?

Hoping for either Music Studies/Arts or Commerce/Arts both @ Usyd.

    General Thoughts: History Extension

Aww, strange how they put the sciences on so late. Usually it's like English, English, Maths, Sciences and then Humanities/Arts. Oh well good to have the histories done with, if we had to end with an exam like Ancient *shudder*.

    General Thoughts: History Extension

Another Hist Ext/Eng Ext here :) Is it your last exam?

    General Thoughts: History Extension

LOL I was initially confident but starting to have second thoughts :/ Oh well, I was sort of anxious for this exam because I met a teacher at a lecture that apparently knew the teacher who was writing the exam and he APPARENTLY told her the question will be difficult and 'out of the box' because...

    General Thoughts: History Extension

Wow, I have a feeling you are going to do really well! I'm not smart enough to have thought of combining the several debates so I just focused on how historians have addressed the point of conflict between Elizabeth the 'body politic' (ie 'Virgin Queen' and 'Gloriana') and her identity as a...

    General Thoughts: History Extension

Wait, so you merged several issues from the case study for question 2? I interpreted imagination as the biases of the historian as he endeavors to recapture the feelings of the past and literal imagination (ie when there are gaps in record).

    General Thoughts: History Extension

Both were fine. Wrote three booklets for each. Question 1 was deeeep and interesting too. My take on it was that practices in the past tended to reject either imagination (Von Ranke) or discipline (Hayden White) but ultimately, it is the amalgamation of both that allows history to resonate with...

    General Thoughts: Mathematics

Got it right but wasted so much time thinking about this question -_- probably lost a good 8-10 minutes that I could have spent looking through my test.

    General Thoughts: Mathematics

Wow I was seriously expecting to come on here and see everyone saying stuff like "Yeah that was easy, I was finished in like an hour, will be surprised if I get under 95 raw" but it calms me a little to see most of us struggled with it. Since this board is mainly frequented by the highest...
