I need one more subject for 1st semester, and I just want to do something that will get me easy marks (for Law transfer). My interests are maths, French, and I don't want a subject that involves a lot of essays. Any suggestions?

yea i didn't get into unsw law either. And for some reason, the person who got AAA was no where even close to Dux...(mid 90s ATAR). i don't know what happened there....

The problem is that some subjects don't have tutorials on the 2 days that I have fit my lectures in to.

I've managed to fit all my lectures into 2 days, but I'm having issues putting the tutorials on the same two days. Hmmm, I'm currently enrolled in UNSW, and I have 2 whole days free...

I just called up the School of Economics, and they told me that it would be around 4-5 days a week. Is this true??? 4-5 days a week for only 12 contact hrs?!

Yes in B Eco, you can major in a business school course. If you want to know which courses to do for your degree, look at the page for "Current Students" rather than "Future Students"

in the main round, I received an offer for UNSW B Economics, and I accepted it. I adjusted my preferences for the late round, as I am considering USyd B Economics- this is now my 3rd preference. But it does not say that there are vacancies on the website. So will I get an offer?

Yea, I'm aware that Economics is in the Arts faculty now. As a part of BEc, you have to do one major from either Economics, Econometrics, Financial Economics BUT you can also do "a maximum of 36 credit points of elective units of study from The University of Sydney Business School"

this is what it says in the handbook: "a maximum of 36 credit points of elective units of study from The University of Sydney Business School" since a major is 36 credit points, doesn't this mean that I can do a Finance major??

Is it possible to do B Economics/Laws, majoring in Economics + Finance??

[/B] This is true, but it will all be dependant on how I fare in uni. With my ATAR, perhaps going to Usyd will give me a bit of an edge, will it not?

No I didn't mean it like that. I wanted to get into Law, but missed out, so I'm doing a single degree and transferring.
