Is this for ad-mat? Im pretty sure the markers know all the rescribed texts, so it won't matter that they can't check the other test because they know what this person has written about is in, say, the Area of Study prescribed texts list. Short answer is no.

Ok I do both Legal and Eco, and have finished the courses for them, and I have to say Legal does not get that much more interesting in Year 12. At the moment the syllabus for Legal is a scrambled mess, and if your a 'by-the-syllabus' student (as you should be - its what the HSC is all about)...
