Hi. So, the ICAS Mathematics Competition is held tomorrow. Do you guys have any tips or trick that you would like to share? Also, are the questions in this competition similar to the Australian Mathematics Competition that were held about two weeks ago? Thank you.

Sorry. What I meant was that if they're one of the better papers out there and they copyrighted questions, doesn't that mean other papers copyright questions even more than CSSA? Just wondering, are HSC papers purely original?

Just saying, if CSSA papers are the 'better' ones out there and its this bad (according to you guys), imagine the others. Are there any papers that do meet your expectations?

If a school uses a CSSA paper but changes the cover page so that their school name and logo appears on it, are the students allowed to distribute them?

Re: Australian Maths Competition 2013 Aren't most of the questions involving integers just trial and error? The only way that I attempt them is to substitute in numbers until I get the answer, although this takes a very long time.

I did contact my school and they haven't done anything about it at all.

I've tried that a couple of times, but the same result comes up every time. It says that they do not have an email address on record for me to activate my account.

Wait... There are questions that are used for research or administration purposes? That's interesting. By the way, I don't remember any question on the Earth and Moon or the positive and negative firing.

I've checked my DEC email a dozen times and all the messages I get are useful information from my school. There's nothing from the Board of Studies unfortunately.
