It really is subjective as to the amount of past papers an individual does, I started at 1988 and worked my way up to 2011:) for 3u, 1999-2011 for 2u and a crapload of trial papers from a multitude of schools, Maths is just so relaxing to do in comparison to other subjects:)

It is imperative that you try and move into Advanced, as Standard scales horribly, and it is renowned as one of the most difficult subjects to get a band 6 in, if your aiming for a higher ATAR, 94/95+ then moving up to Advanced seems like the most logical step:)

I think you already know the answer to your question, right now im thinking they'll take a unit each from music and legal, school rank is very good, work a bit harder on english and the prospect of 99.5+ seems acheivable, so yeah definitely on track for a 99+imo :)

Your SOR1 will probably not count, your other ranks are good, I certainly believe that you will be able to smash your primary goal of 80+, and if you put enough effort in to it, then I can't see why 86+ is not possible:), as for right now I'd say 84/85 :)

Back in the day, say 20 years ago, the HSC was worth close to 100% of your final mark, so it seemed perfectly reasonable to put in the most study for the exam that would count the most:)
