the top is about the same, IB might be a little harder. but IB doesnt have so many easy subjects like the HSC has to have. also, you can fail ib apparently. but dunno how easy it is to fail.

ive never heard that they offered ib? if they do, then coming 9th and all these state rankings is phenomenal doing IB would disadvantage a school a lot though i reckon. imagine if the top 30 from ruse suddenly didn't count cause they did IB, i dont think theyd consistently top...

grammar at 9th, thought they would be higher given the state rankings and 1sts. guess they musta had a crap tail or something. also, i heard nsb was really bad this year. but 4th is alright.

stunned for chemistry as well. 84% in my trial at a top 10 school. 91 internal mark. felt great after the exam. 17-18/20 multi, all chem calc correct (which i was most unsure about) 86 exam mark which is aprox 65% raw.....wtf if there's a lot of us confused about chemistry what could that...

thats really brutal :( got the same mark, but it was atleast somewhat expected as i got 64% in my trials. but i thought i did better in the exam. ohwell

ah okay, that makes sense. i was surprised to hear about double marking. damn i hope theyve lost a section or ***ed up something bad for chem/eco. they were normally my best subjects and now they are among my worst. wouldnt even care that much if they lost it and couldn't find it and didnt...

also the lady i talked to from the BoS said all exams are double marked and a mark 'recheck' is simply checking all the marks were added up correctly and attributed correctly. the exam is NOT remarked.

geez, 1% chance? i have no idea what the hell went wrong in chem and eco then... i'll still order my raw marks and see wtf happened. then maybe a recheck.

you have to come first internally AND externally in your cohort for assessment/exam mark to be the same

does anyone usually compile a school rankings from that excel thing? seems like it'd be possible but i'm not sure how to figure how many B6s per school.
