Frustration due to what? Depends on why he is terminating contract in the first place. If they do defame you, for you to take legal action against them you have to prove they were knowingly talking shit about you. Which would be pretty hard to prove.

Marks are out already? 46-49 = Cumulative WAM prior to start of current semester is at least 55 + 46 or 47 = Current Term WAM at least 55 (which to me seems like your semester WAM on that session you did COMP)

Personally I'm Asian and my parents go against the stereotype and have been laissez faire with my upbringing and education. So from that experience I think I'll be a "Tiger" parent in raising my kids since if kids could have the choice they'd spent their time doing nothing.

As i said she appears to be a highly capable person, and if she was threatened to be disowned/troubles at home, she has avenues/resources to live independently or with other family members. Especially now that she would have been an adult when this case was brought forward. This is true but...

The daughter seems like a highly capable human being. But who in their right mind would want to tarnish their reputation. Which is pretty much what she is letting her mother do, if she is being "controlled" as you suggest. So I would argue she wanted this just as much as her mother.

It may appear this way but the party suing is "the daughter" not "the mother". So obviously the daughter cared enough to have her name out there.

Other than just the stupidity of the case. If they let this through imagine the slew of people who will also sue.

If they did this, I don't understand why they didn't just release everyone else marks while they were at it.

How do they know they got 49? Results aren't out yet, and i doubt they release the actual exam marks....
