for the prelim course, i don't think you'll need other textbooks, instead try past papers from your school or other sources i found Math in Focus pretty decent, but i have to agree that its a fairly easy textbook that being said, if you want a harder textbook, go cambridge

sketch x and then f(x), then multiply ordinates? when people say 'you need to get a feel' this is kind of true(achieved by sketching quite a few graphs)

but then if the test was insanely hard, then 50/100 might be good so ranks could be a better indicator

true, yr 11 results aren't a good indicator Maths Advanced = 4th from 15 4th place from a previous 15th place or 4th out of 15??
