    UTS business/law vs USYD/UNSW commerce

Afternoon all, I only have the atar to enter one of the above listed universities. I hope to do finance or accounting, however the fact that I am not doing a cadetship leads me to feel more inclined to take on a law double for employment prospects. Regarding these..... - UTS Business\Law...

    EAS bonus points and law....

Hi all, I'm considering a double degree in business and law at UTS (approx. 97 atar). Since I may end up just short of the cut-off (realistically 90-96), would EAS bonus points be applicable in my situation (applied through school for extreme hardship)? thanks.

didn't apply for a cadetship- should I still do commerce?

Hi all, I've been successful in gaining some employment pertaining to sales\admin with pay similar to that of a cadetship. Also the location is better. Given that I will work full-time during holidays and part-time during the semester (ie. 2-4 days depending on timetabling), would a double...

didn't apply for a cadetship- should I still do commerce?

Hi all, Just finished the HSC (atar probably going to be around 94-97) and looking to do a commerce degree commencing next year. Though I thought accounting would always be an option, I didn't apply for a cadetship as I had other preferences around that time of year. So since I've obviously...

    Crime Essay

It's probably best to leave out public discretion. Do lepra/police powers, bail, charge negotiation and sentencing.

    General Thoughts: Legal Studies

Well under the rome statute the transnational crime of 'human trafficking' is listed. Therefore you could talk about the lack of effectiveness.

    General Thoughts: Legal Studies

You could still get a 16-21 mark\band 5 by implying 'alternate relationships'; these encompass de facto, same sex and separated among others....

    Psychology

Hi all, I'm intending to do honours psych at usyd or maq next year. Although I meet the prerequisites (2u maths), will not having done a science in years 11 and 12 put me at a disadvantage., especially if I went on to to clinical ?Though I'm excellent at English, I know virtually nothing of...

    Section I: Multiple Choice

I might be wrong, but I said he or she must accept it. Charge negotiation pertains to the prosecution's stance and the judge is independent of the prosecution. They therefore cannot reject it because it happens prior to sentencing and is outside of court. That rules out consideration as well.

Band 6 cut off this year?

the multiple choice and the crimes will see a lot of under 50% marks. So I'd say low 80s.

    Section I: Multiple Choice

Wrong. Both police and courts can use caution (Young Offenders Act- I think). Answer is caution
