If you look at past HSC questions, for the past two or three years or so, they have asked for additional topic... so no surprise there. Otherwise, I thought the test was fairly straightforward... most of the parts were pretty alright, except for the melody dictation, had so much trouble...

So much for study-freak, lols.

Haha it's pretty awesome that you can improv a whole song through. But I guess for something as important as the HSC, you might not want to take your chances and actually rehearse it? Maybe? :haha:

I don't do music ext... but I assume you don't NEED Amus to do extension... no doubt some of your competition will be, but I don't think there's anything stopping you.

Music 2 involves a very large variety of music, ranging from medieval and renaissance to (australian) music of the last 25 years. Knowing a decent amount of theory is pretty much a prerequisite to at least doing okay in the course. That's why you'll probably see most of the people that do music...
