    Scaling Question

The overall performance of the cohort will determine scaling. But you definitely don't have to be first to be scaled well. If it is a poorly ranked school just be as close to first as you can.

How to deal with lecturers that cannot accept that they are wrong?

Your going through a lot of trouble to make someone admit they are wrong and get a mark or two. If you know the truth that he is wrong, who cares about him or the mark. By trying to make him admit he is wrong makes you look very arrogant.

Thought so. When I came across these that is what I though then I saw a Cambridge question asking to show that they intersect at x=1 and 0. So I should just sub the x values they give to 'show'?

Do you have maths in focus? If so do the first questions from each exercise. Doesn't get any easier than that. Even do development q's in cambridge.

    How to get better!

Probability is a logical topic. Just take your time (when learning) and don't over complicate it. If your having trouble with HSC questions go back to basics in a simple textbook.

    Writing Notes Vs Downloading Notes

That's what you should do, just make sure your notes cover everything so that they will be all you need for study later.

    Writing Notes Vs Downloading Notes

Not necessarily. Sometimes when you write your own notes you leave out important stuff or details, and when you use them to study you could be missing out on something without even knowing. How does one 'Top the State'?

I was thinking the same thing. If you only do 2U and get 100 internal and external, then i can't see a reason not to be first. That's why there are a lot of ties?
