Hello
I am in year 11 now and I want to ask a few questions about scaling. Firstly do you have to be only first in the class the be scaled up or can you still be scaled up if you are in the top 5 or 10 of the course. Secondly I heard from a few people that you can receive bonus points. Do you have to apply for it yourself or does the school automatically apply for you and when can you start applying?

The overall performance of the cohort will determine scaling. But you definitely don't have to be first to be scaled well. If it is a poorly ranked school just be as close to first as you can.
