Most schools will give you the required information to apply to uni, the information being the UAC guide (or the equivelent for your state). You will have to apply by yourself, this is done online through the UAC website. This year I think applications opened in September. You apply by...

I had my YOU Session a couple of weeks ago and I think it went well. RAAF is my first preference and Army (Rifleman) is my second. I'm not really expecting to get in because I know it is very competetive but I'm definitely hoping to get in lol.

Thanks for the info but my question actually was "How do they decide who gets accepted and who doesn't?". Obviously they don't have unlimited positions so there must be some method of selection. And if the above statement is correct then I am just wondering how they decide who gets the places...

I'd say it probably has something to do with ANU being the highest ranking university in the southern hemisphere.

Yeah I'll be moving from the north coast of NSW to either Sydney or Canberra next year...That's 800km away from home lol.
