Can universities see your course preferences?

It shouldn't be a problem. If it comes down to that course and your ATAR is higher than other applicants you will get the offer, regardless of where the course is on your list. Applicants that placed the course higher in their preferences and have a lower ATAR than you won't be favoured.

Can universities see your course preferences?

I think certain uni's only give out early offers / give out bonus points to students who have put their uni as 1st pref. Not 100% sure though but I read that on some uni site.

193rd thread on how offers work

Single highest preference you're elligible for, regardless if you change them or not in later rounds. In later rounds you may get an offer for another course but will still only be offered your single highest preference you're elligible for.

    Definition please

In American politics a Democrat is considered a Liberal and a Republican is considered a Conservative. A definition of those two terms purely in this context just means a member of x party. You could read up on their policies just by going to their web sites / watching CNN.

Can universities see your course preferences?

I'm not sure if they can view your entire list of preferences but I do know that they can view which spot their course is listed as. UNE rang me up asking if I had any questions and they seemed to know that I placed one of their courses 8th...

New look website, URL and logo for the University of Sydney

Yuck. Why is Usyd all of the sudden trying to become "modern". It's the fact that it's old that draws people to it. Fail on Usyd's behalf. Next thing we know they'll be knocking down the sandstone.

Who else here is doing construction management?

Construction Management @ UWS? I put it as like my 9th preference I think lol, so I don't think I'll be doing it but it does sound interesting. Read the course description or read up on the individual subjects if you want to know what you will be studying. UWS: Bachelor of Construction Management

Did anyone perform badly in the Preliminary and perform well in the HSC?

Yeah I got a C's D's and an E in my final preliminary report. Barely passed my trials but got 89.35 ATAR. Last minute study ftw.

    Information on Accommodation

Ah ok thanks for that, sounds reasonable. However would that mean that the $296 per week (Bruce Hall) is the going rate for the lump sum? If so, approximately what would the weekly rate be if I had to pay the instalments semesterly / quarterly / monthly?

    Information on Accommodation

Alright thanks guys. One more question regarding payment for accommodation. I know they have 40 week contracts but does this mean I would have to pay for the entire 40 weeks as a lump sum or do they allow people to pay weekly / fotnightly / monthly?
