6 months gym.. wat can be achieved?

6 months does put you in the middle of winter, so you could just bulk like crazy and put on ~20kg and then begin a cut cycle as we roll in to summer again.

Really sux how quickly you lose strength..

MMA was really awesome, the cardio especially was very full on. What was really good initially was the fact that guys that had been training for 2-3 months could kick my ass without even trying and after I had been training for ~3 months I was doing the same with guys that were just starting. At...

Tutorial Full - Perspectives in Medical Science

They'll definetely allow you to slot in to one of the tutorials (provided you are a med sci student). It's not a serious tutorial, you honestly sit in a circle of chairs like an AA meeting and discuss completely random topics

Really sux how quickly you lose strength..

I really wanted to get in to MMA (mixed martial arts), so I started training it in the holidays at a gym near by. It was really taxing though and I couldn't keep up doing it and weights, so I dropped the weights (no pun intended). Due to now being at uni 9-5 (or later) for honours, it turns...

    Worst workout ever....

Yep, planet fitness has an alarm they call the 'lunk alarm'. It is basically just an extremely high pitched siren that employees can set off by pressing a button at the front desk. They can set the lunk alarm off if someone grunts, drops weights, says something offensive or if they attempt to do...

    Worst workout ever....

What gym is this? I got in a lot of trouble over a similar instance for saying 'I wouldn't hesitate to beat the fuck out of you right now if there were no consequences'

    Difference between CHEM1031 and CHEM1011?

I did neuropharmacology and neurophysiology, neither of them had any chemistry in them. Neuropharmacology you have to learn the synthesis and breakdown of the various neurotransmitters, but only to the detail of: Compound A + catalyst B --> Neurotransmitter C There is definetely no detailed...

    Difference between CHEM1031 and CHEM1011?

Chem1011 & Chem1021 = 3 hours lectures, 2 hour lab, 1 hour tutorial. The first 4-5 weeks of chem1011 is pretty much hsc chemistry. Chem1031/Chem1041= 2 hours lectures, 3 hour lab, 1 hour tutorial. You jump straight in to learning about atomic theory at the start of chem1031. Due to having an...

Re: Is it possible to ask them if they could enrol me in a full class for one of my t Yes, but don't say that's the reason why, say it's an unavoidable clash or something and they'll probably let you in.

    WAM for Honours

In Med Sci, 44 students were accepted for honors this year, but almost half are completing it at hospitals and institutions outside of the uni. Also, to be denied honors with a 92 WAM, that kid must of made a really, really, really bad impression on the supervisor he was trying to get.

    Chem1031 & chem1041

True, and especially with 1st year chem, in a few weeks time a heap of people will drop to CHEM1011 and another good percentage of people will start relying on ilectures.
