You'll have to talk with the UNSW/UTS administration and see what weighting they'll put on it. Given you have a Diploma already I'm not sure if it would significantly improve your selection rank. Talk with the universities and see what they recommend - they can tell you all about the mature age...

If the assumed knowledge is 2U (check with them), then I'd recommend the bridging course. 2U and General are *completely* different.

Transferring into Law is very competitive. Uni results have much more weight than ATARs, but I'd say you'll want to bump up your GPA a bit before applying.

URSIES :D Bruce is larger, and it does have bigger facilities. Their dining room is awesome, I must admit. On the other hand, Ursies is smaller and physically more compact - everyone in the Main Wing is in one building. IMO the community is a bit closer and friendlier - though I am biased :p

Expensive, poor services, lack of community, etc etc.

You do however have to keep paying rent...

I can also confirm (people I know) that the ATAR requirement is NOT strict - they will admit people who come slightly under the cutoff; it's all considered on a case-by-case basis.

I don't particularly see why you'd want to shorten it to two years - you'd burn out, and besides, you won't have nearly enough time to actually enjoy the uni experience. I'm at the end of my second year now and I'm just starting to really get into it - my degree program is 4 years and I honestly...

There's quite a lot of opportunities in IT. There's a few other IT-related degrees out there like Computer Science and Software Engineering that have different program requirements which might suit you better or worse depending on what you want to go in to and what your interests are.

Don't know if there are any in particular. Ursies has a decent number but I'm not sure how it compares to Bruce. No idea about self-catered places.

And the fees are going up by about $20 a week next year. If you can cook and you don't particularly need to be in a catered college then B&G could very well be your best option.

Just being facetious :) Hmm? Pretty sure every major uni has postgrad politics...

As cem said, the cutoffs change every year - although, we do have some information about certain raw marks for certain years. Unfortunately I can't give you links because our search system is broken :/
