accepting is not the same as enrolling. The uac site should update eventually to say that you have accepted an offer

It can work in your favour if the exam was hard on everybody. And if you perform to an average standard, it may or may not work against you if the exam was easy. And I don't mean hard and easy from a personal opinion, but rather across the board.

I hope we also get candy in the mail. Free candy rocks god damnit.

It just means that the top students will always get D's and HD's. It can be a useful way of determining grades if the exams are hard, and nobody gets the raw mark that would be a distinction or such.

Not sure what its like at UTS, but the MQ deferrment form asks you to un-enroll before March 31st. It sounds like you've done the right thing. Btw, what were your reasons for deferring? Are they pretty lenient with handing out deferments?
