1A and 1B go through a few different topics/lecturers, so for instance on some weeks you may have 2 different lecturers. Also, 3 hour lectures usually mean people are looking at youtube for the last 1 and a half hours

I'm fairly certain they won't check for ID, don't worry about it. Uni's are the best place for underage drinking. Of course, I don't officially condone that behaviour.

There's no reason to not work hard for a transfer, since you need good grades to get into honours and masters for psych anyway.

All you need is pen/pencil and paper pretty much for the first week of lectures, they should tell you if you need other materials for things like workshops in this time. Also don't buy a wall calendar just yet, you can usually grab big free ones during O-Week

I'm considering dropping out of sydney and heading down for a BSc(Psych)/BA degree. Pretty underprepared in terms of moving, though I do have a knack for sorting things out in the last few minutes. Wouldn't mind supporting the brumbies for a few seasons either.. bit of a star studded line-up...
