Chem1021 Lecturers:8/10, I don't like the organic part, the lecturer did not provide all the lecture note slides on webct...The inorganic and physical chem parts r fine... Interest:8/10, If u r interested in chem, u will find this course is interesting...But I do believe most people choose...

Has anyone considered it is much easier to get a higher mark in UTS ot UWS compared with UNSW and Usyd?

Japanese or Chinese.... I think they r much more useful than others...

The competition is extremely hot in these universities....and u will have extremely heavy pressure... Some of my friends told me if u do PHD in these universities, u will do GRE test and sometimes, GRE sub test for like physics and chemistry... Meanwhile, U will prepare to work in the atmosphere...

Is it important? I know most them finished bachelor degree in their home countries, and did research in USA? So what is wrong...they all were international students before...

I am pretty sure I will miss the uni when I graduate. I am such a boring person, sometimes I even don't how to waste my time in the holiday...In the smester, at least I can do some studyings and talk with my mates or professors... Hard to imagine what my life will be in the future....I will try...

Just for research, not for pratical significance~ I know in USA, several years ago, Nanotech is a quite hot area, but now more scientists realise that nanotech is not that valuable as thought before... So, we can predict nanotech will go down gradually in the next 10 years, if no big discover...

People call civil the setting sun industry~especially in North America... Why not try chem/medical/bio engineering?

Actually, I think math is the easiest subject to get a very high mark (but also easy to fail...), the only thing u need to do is just keeping doing practise, after every lecture... And I don't agree chemical and biological science don't need too much math...If u really want to go for...

Stop the racial discrimination, have u seen this year's Noble Prize holders... For physics, all of them are Japanese; For chemistry, one Chinese, one Japanese, one American white...Japanese...Chinese...eastern asians... On the other hand, if u r excellent enough, no matter asian or white, who...

90% for SAT is enough, but not enough for full scholarship... If u can't get scholarship, the study fee for MIT is really high... I know some Chinese students went for these top unis in USA with full scholarship... The get nearly full marks for SAT, most of them even did GRE... Hope u enjoy it~

If ur UAI is higher than 99...U can consider the Ph.B degree in ANU....I am pretty sure it is the best science undergraduate degree in Australia... From 2009, UNSW also provides a new programme---high performance student programme in advanced science degree, which should be similar to Ph.B...

Are u joking? UNSW is NO.1 in the world for engineering and commerce? So what about MIT...what about Princeton...even UNSW itself said the ranking for engineering is 16th in the world on its official website... But if u compare the students' number,maybe.... only 6000+ students in Princeton...

My supervisor said he would like to choose students who hasve a strong background in math...although my major is biochemistry... So math is really important for any natural science major... Hopr u enjoy it~
