A lot of people percieve it as "the better marks in the exam count". In truth, it's not this. It's the 10 best units that willgive you the best ATAR. So obviously the 47/50 in SOR would have given you a better atar than had the 91 in physics counted.

I was planning on transferring. I know of a couple of people who have managed to transfer from UWS to Usyd. Which is impressive. I think I'll at least be accepted into the B Design, I just wanted some opinions. If I do a BA, I'll get used to Uni, do some subjects I enjoy, and come back to uni...

It's not false hope, that's his point. TO get into a course you don't HAVE to get the cut off. Just decently close to it. It also depends on how many students join and everything. He also has 5 bonus points. He'll make it.

So the marks UAC uses to get our ATAR are most likely better than the ones we received today?

Are these our raw examination marks? So when UAC goes to calculate our ATARs, will they scale the marks we just got either up or down? :S
