I didn't get private tutoring but i'm guessing that would be more helpful as they'll teach to tailor your needs. I did, however, get extra tutoring with a group of students. For the AOS, each week we did some vocab work; learning the many language/visual techniques, how to answer questions...

Oh ok, that sounds good. Medical science is my second preference (weird, i know) and i was thinking about doing STAT as well. Do you know if it's hard to pass? If i get into commerce hopefully i'll survive! I guess i'll just have to do lots of reading to brush up on all the terms and jargon!

I'm planning to do commerce (liberal studies) with a marketing major. I'm interested in a career in advertising but apparently the career prospects aren't too great? Also, is there alot of maths involved in accounting?

Had to read 1984 for powerplay. I didn't think i'd like it but it's much different from the usual books i read and i quite enjoyed it. The only part that dragged on for me was the extract of Goldstein's book.

OK, now i really have to go buy it; books are just too expensive and i prefer my own copy! >< But it'll have to wait, i'm in the middle of The Time Traveler's Wife at the moment.

I have a WAHL one. I'd like to get a GHD one but it's expensive! And curling is a disaster, i don't think curling suits my hair ><
