    them Sydney Trains moments

Re: cityrail moments Wow, I'm glad i'm not on the Western Line much. The South line is usually packed but nothing remotely exciting happens unless you're on a train at say 11pm on a saturday night xD

Is race a biological difference or a social construct?

+1 If race were really subspecies, then breeding would be a lot more difficult than it is.

    Superfail

Yep, you'd look like an idiot though. That stunt was meh, there are more interesting ones from the UNSW art and college kids xD

How To Get Your Dream ATAR

Sleep. Dear heavens, sleep! I did an english exam after a night/morning of gaming and felt awful - ending up falling asleep half way through it and getting a crappy mark lol. Thankfully that was in year 11, not in year 12. If you're in year 11, find your best study method. That is, work out...

Effort to get 80+ in 4U

So long as you know the basics and do a few practise papers you'll be ok. If you are get something along the lines of 55% in the final exams you'll end up with a number in the 80s :)

    What should i drop?

Unless you're either in love with maths/really hate eco, i would have to say keep economics. Your rank is much higher and i believe it'll contribute more to your ATAR. But, if you do have a strong love for maths then stick with maths.

CD technology is soooo easy. It's in all the year 11 physics text books and if you googled, an awesome site called "HowSuffWorks" will help you out :)

    Necessary Scarifices

You will fail if you try and sacrifice anything cold turkey. I recommend rewarding yourself with whatever it is you intend to keep up after a few hours of hard work.

Any Ways To enjoy Studying????... Just In Time For The Hoildays

I find maths enjoyable when i'm listening to music, only because i don't have to really think when i do it. Otherwise, i don't really know how studying can be enjoyable... And there's no magic number of hours you should study for. Just make a list of things you have to get done that day and...

    Trials

Trial exams always appear to be harder than the HSC - even if they're not - because of the preparation time difference. You have weeks to study for the HSC, but you will be lucky if they got 1.5 weeks to study for trials. In my experience, some trial papers are indeed harder than the HSC. I...

Why does english standard and advance scale the same according to ATAR calculator???

Re: Why does english standard and advance scale the same according to ATAR calculator +1 to the bold. Standard and Advanced english marks are aligned based on the performance of both streams in paper 1. Since the standard kids (in general) do crappier than the advanced kids in paper 1, the...

    Be warned!

Actually, cramming works well for some people and crammers can beat consistent studiers :P But yeah, don't do too much study. Spread it out and make sure you have some fun as well :)

    Belonging Short Story Word Limit

1100 would be the max. Aim for just below 900 words - you'll need to spend more time on your essays.

    URGENT!!! Subject Selection HELP!!!

Why not do both, if you have the interest and skills? If you can't choose between the two, seeing as you want to do med, do bio if you are confident that you'll get an awesome ATAR. Otherwise, consider doing 3u to boost your ATAR (assuming that you're awesome at maths) and just do a bridging...
