Don't worry about your school rank, just aim to do as well in externals as possible. I can confirm that I go to a pretty low ranked school and we generally get like 7 or 8 people getting over 90 atar each year (small cohort size of like 60 each year), with the people doing your types of subjects...

Biggest meme for us was saying let u=x when given an integral to solve by u sub. Also the classic "expand this expression", then redrawing the question with the brackets more spaced out.

Yeah q8 was pretty easy tbh, especially the circ motion part. The only really tricky question in that paper was circle geo, and even that wasn't awful, compared to something like the last question in 1989 or even 1998. But part iii of the circle part is a huge trap. Like I just assumed it...
