    Looking at what you said i think you should take it if you got good throughout yrs 7-10 and i mean you didn't take very loaded things like like 4U Math, Phys or Chem, so I think it's worthwhile.

    It's possible, but you have to work VERY hard for it, to an extent that I think you might lose time with your other subjects, I would suggest not to upgrade to Advanced, just because of how long the transition is going to take.

    Moving from Standard Maths to Advanced Math is like moving from English Studies (non atar subject) to English Advanced. It really isn't worth it.
