Looking at what you said i think you should take it if you got good throughout yrs 7-10 and i mean you didn't take very loaded things like like 4U Math, Phys or Chem, so I think it's worthwhile.
It's possible, but you have to work VERY hard for it, to an extent that I think you might lose time with your other subjects, I would suggest not to upgrade to Advanced, just because of how long the transition is going to take.
