    And where does one get FM and how much is it? It sounds an interesting and fun game!


    Though for Liverpool, well... we'll see. My cousin is a Liverpool fan, so he'll keep me updated.

    And yes - us Asians always think alike anyway =P

    And yes - that's why I go to FIFA Manager/Career mode for that fix. Nice enough.


    We shall see in the upcoming weeks though! I'll keep an extra eye out for Liverpool... just to see what happens.

    Oh I haven't seen those yet.

    Though yes - those games actually gave me an outlet to play in a style I wanted. It was all very nice. I now watch football also for inspiration in playing FIFA =P

    But oh okay, so you... cheated =P Nah, transfers are fine. But yeah, Liverpool have a pretty good squad - they should start turning it around soon.


    And you were there?! Ohh... see, that's the night I figured football existed! It's an omen!

    When I beat Man U in the final - now that was an epic final. I believe I won against them in a penalty shootout. And then I beat Barcelona in another Final... great times. You know I don't like it when people say people who play video games have no lifes - but seriously, that game - fictional as it is - really just helped brood the love of the game that developed. I got my first FIFA in 2007 (FIFA 06) and I haven't skipped a game since! And the memories! Oh I could go on forever.

    For you though - are you sure the game was enough of a challenge? It wasn't on 'easy' difficulty was it...? =P

    I like his name! And I remember watching that - I just felt really bad watching it... still, he actually got us to the WC in the first place. I even watched a few games live when they played at ANZ Stadium. I find that when you're in the stadium, you don't exactly care how they're playing - it's just entertainment. To me at least.

    Weird but always somewhat entertaining. I like when they answer a question and the person in the back puts on a 'wtf' face on!

    And that, ohh I call that the play button formation: " >| " see? Well, that's what it reminds me of at least. And FC Porto were the first club to offer me a contract in that game - I remember getting to the Champions League semi-finals, losing 4-0 to Red Bull Salzburg away and then winning 5-0 at home - before they snatched a 90th minute goal that made them win on away goals. Oh I was pissed... still, that remains to this day my fondest FIFA memory. And Hulk is awesome as well - though my back line had Bosingwa still in it, the game is that old. I had a front three of Quaresma and Leandro Lima on the wings and Bojan Krkic purchased from Barcelona as my striker.

    4-3-3, ah my favourite formation. I won three Champions Leagues' in a row with FC Porto using a 4-3-3 in FIFA 08. Great times... but what your described is a 4-3-2-1 =P

    And yes, I agree we need attractive football - but I couldn't care less what style we play. I'm a fan for whatever.

    True. And teammates sometimes have interesting answers. And lulz moments.

    Personally, for me - I don't know. On FIFA I play with a 4-2-3-1, for Australia I think we should play some sort of 4-2-2-2 thing. When defending, the attacking wingers fall back for your stock 4-4-2.

    True, but the Vault requires instrumental music to let the commentators be heard. But the Vault better return! It's like one of the best segments =P

    There was also no 'How well do you know your team-mates?'! Very weird episode.


    Yes, lone strikers are... well, silly unless you have some sort of midfielder pushing forward to play a one-two with or to play off.


    And hey, hey, hey - I'm just a casual supporter who doesn't care much about the EPL anyway... yeah I'm playing that card =P

    See, but I'd go for Eurovision or something like that. But I like the existing Vault music. It goes really well with the segment.


    And yes. Kewell better score. I remember under the Verbeek era though - Fozz and the TWG people didn't like Cahill alone up front as a striker. They don't say that anymore - perhaps because Kewell is there as his strike partner? Not sure.


    And yeah, well... Liverpool isn't doing that good either =P Yeah, yeah that's right.

    I wish I knew what music they played during it - it's nice stuff.

    I'm not sure if we can beat them - I'm not an expert at Iraqi football, but we should considering we have a good coach, more experience and good players. We look to attack at least.

    I 'follow' leagues as in see who wins - mostly via The World Game show. I don't stay up at 2am to watch say... EPL or Primera though.

    Osieck is promising - very promising. I'm still not a fan of us lobbing the ball though... it's a bit... amateur in my opinion. Though we don't have the pure technical skill to break down defences via passing. That's a Barcelona-esque thing =P

    And who the heck is Edin Dzeko? =P

    Well, because at Real he's forced to play attractively. So... his attacking football may not be as good as his natural defencive style perhaps.

    Well... then maybe he is an ass. Not sure. I don't follow the EPL all that much - except the occasional inside cheer when Man U lose =P

    Balanced is nice - but I like a game with lots of chances and spectacular saves. Open, attacking football... that kind of thing. Though, nice strike from Jedinak. I feared for periods in the match that Bahrain were going to draw level - but thankfully, it didn't happen.

    Well, yeah - I heard they were spending tons of money to no result. Oh well. They just have to gel and then maybe they'll start winning.

    And yeah, but Mourinho is epic too. He won't make the same mistake twice... I think.

    That's an interesting read... first time I read that.

    Penalty saves are always great. But yes, pure football is a million goals... exciting enough I suppose. I hope we win tonight!

    I prefer Manchester City - because I don't like Man U at all =P

    Well, hopefully if they meet - the score line will be closer...

    If Mourinho lashed out at Ferguson, that's +1000 respect points there!

    And penalties are awesome. Shame the players don't like them - I mean I think it's pure football in a way, it's one person vs. the goalkeeper. It's pure. So wholesome.

    But yes, I was annoyed when Manchester United won... but then I think I took out my frustration by talking about it to friends who were equally annoyed I think.


    And this year... well, I'm not sure what the knockout stage draw looks like - though I'm hoping for a Real Madrid v Barcelona final. I hope Man U are despatched in the Round of 16 =P

    Oh so he did play. Ah well, new thing learnt. And of course he doesn't respect other managers because he's arrogance embodied! That's why he's awesome =P

    And don't worry, I already saw the '05 Final. I believe it was one of the Vault clips on the World Game a few weeks back... and still, he shouldn't have slipped. But yes, I vaguely remember cheering when Ronaldo missed - I was so happy! But when Anelka missed and they won... I think I just turned off the TV and was annoyed the rest of that schoolday.

    Hopefully this year will have a nice final or some nice games at least.

    Well, I believe Mourinho never actually played football... so maybe he's uneducated in that way. /me shrugs

    I'd assume that '05 final was good. Closest it's ever been super exciting was the '08 final... when Man U won. Stupid John Terry - can't kick a frigging ball into a net. <_< AND THEN ANELKA... yeah, two years later he's scoring goals fine. Annoys me to no end.

    But yes, at least I watch it now. Epic times to be had waking up at 4:30 in the morning!

    And ah yes, that CL final in 2005 when they came back from 3-0 down I assume...? Unfortunately, that was before I realised there was a Champions League. So I only heard about that because I started watching the CL in 2007 when Milan beat Liverpool and the commentators kept talking about 2005 and then I found out...
