its not really about the topic you right about, rather how you deliver it.
make sure you can write well, then all ideas will be a good read.
personally i hate creative writing, id rather an essay any day!
have fun!

For my Belonging creative, I explored how personal values and memories may promote or inhibit an indvidual's sense of self-worth/value in the larger world.
I think it was in the form of a memoir.
.
Just write whatever comes to your mind, then suddenly your thoughts will start to flow in coherent manner - Stream of Consciousness
After this, extrapolate those ideas and compose a short story.

Write an imaginative with say 4-5 big paragraphs, with each one pertaining to an event. At the beginning of each paragraph in bold have an excerpt from each of the points within the nuremberg code http://ohsr.od.nih.gov/guidelines/nuremberg.html. Each event however, will be a hypocritical analysis of the dot point of the code you began each paragraph on. You talk about the hypocrisy and what it means to be a scientist during the holocaust. By this time the marker will be intrigued as to what us happening because you will not explicitly say what is happening but provide an abstract version of events, they will also be confused about the listing and where you are getting the points from. Your final sentence will simply be 'the nuremberg code', right then it will hit the responder right between the eyes as to what has been happening and what the points are all about. BAM....Band 6!

Look, Really the most important thing when writing a creative peice for belonging is emotion.
my sister got 15/15 for her story writing hsc cuz she used a real peice which everyone could coonnect 2.
if it hasnt happened to you write about an experience of your family, try to get as many emotions from them as your can, because that is the most important thing!!
