I was wondering how can u get rep power because mine is curently 0.

maybe it goes by how much rep you have. so the more people who rep you, the more your rep is worth

you need 20 posts to have any rep power, then it's a combination of # posts, tenure and rep

You make posts, people rep you (if they like it) and you get rep power because of it. Also, if you have a large post count and have been on the forums for a long time, you get more rep power.

Yes.

Rep power is determined by three factors: length of account (join date), post count, and your reputation.

and 61 people with 1 rep power neg it, because it is legit shit
then along comes aerath with 62 rep power who pities the poor fella and pos reps them

How do i make my rep bar longer (e.g. more green blocks). I have 78 rep point....does that count towards those green bars or is that my rep power?

I think you need 100 for 1 bar. Not quite sure about the bright green and gold bars.

To answer your question - yes it factors in pos rep vs neg rep. So, it has a net of +1 rep, so the answer is yes.

But what I think what you're getting at is that the 61 negatives should weigh more than my one positive - in which case, the answer is no. It's just based on pure rep points, as opposed as to the way you got to those rep points. And I believe such a coding would be difficult.

When you get to a certain number (which is obviously higher than 78), you will get another green bar.

You don't necessarily. Your post count is higher. That's not the same as rep points.

I think you need 100 for 1 bar. Not quite sure about the bright green and gold bars.

100 per dark green bar until you get to 1000 rep (10 green bars)
Then it's 600 per light green bar. Until you get to 6400 rep points. [1000 + (600 times 9)]
Then it's GOLD bby!!

Eg Now i'm on ~1800 rep points. So i've got 2 light green bar and will have to wait for i get 2200 rep points for my third one.

Also, surprised no one has said: "Rep me ploz yet".

I thought gold was 7000.
