What's the best study guide/ workbook/textbook for studying bio??

Also, which is better for chemistry- conquering chemistry or dot point?
Thanks! :D

If you have some loose change, you could purchase biology in focus and Heinamann. I use both of them and they provide really straightforward information which helps improve your understanding. Goes for you too hayabusaboston, if you're willing to spend the cash.

Umm I'm not too sure about Oxford for biology. Compare textbooks when you visit a book shop or something. Heinamann also has great diagrams imo :p

If you are a tl;dr student, then the Surfing Biology series is excellent.

Details you aren't sure of later on can be filled in by other textbooks like Excel (the new one).

But Surfing is the best for learning concepts. Nice diagrams and easy-to-understand explanations.

tl;dr = too long, didn't read (used when you can't be bothered reading something, and you want a summarised version)

IMO = in my opinion (or International Mathematics Olympiad lol)

OP = Original Poster (or 'overpowered' when it comes to games) You are OP because you made this thread.
