Well, for the price of an E7500 you could get a cheap AM3 motherboard and CPU which would be faster and allow for upgrade to a Phenom II.

not a bad idea, i might actually consider that
but i heard that amd cpu's temps gets pretty hot.

Nah, the new Phenoms are about the same as i7s, I'm pretty have they have a lower TDP though.

This is my laptop which is about half a year old, discontinued model from a while ago though.
i7-720Q @ 1.6GHz, I forget the overclock but I assume it's the standard one.
ATI Mobility Radeon 5650 HD, 1GB
6GB DDR3
640GB HDD, I forget the RPM.

This is my netbook that I got for Christmas for school based purposes hahaha.
Atom CPU N450 @ 1.66GHz, dual core
2GB RAM, cbf looking up DDR2 or 3, think it's 2 though.
512MB NVIDIA ION
320GB HDD

My dad insisted on a 12 inch netbook so that I don't kill my eyes even more...
