Look up thestudentroom or collegeconfidential.
I think that might only be for US students.Sorry for bumping this up after a few months. I was wondering isnt Harvard fully needblind to intl students and they meet full demonstrated need of accepted students regardless of nationality? I just wanted to clarify this since whenever harvard/yale/princeton does their info night they always stress that an ivy league edu is affordable since they're need blind and meet full aid. Also harvard now requires student from a family earning <US$60000 to contribute nothing to a Harvard education.
Actually, I'm pretty sure the financial aid package is irrespective of citizenship -- at least for Yale, Princeton and Harvard.I think that might only be for US students.
I'm not sure that's correct.Actually, I'm pretty sure the financial aid package is irrespective of citizenship -- at least for Yale, Princeton and Harvard.
Yeah, you're right. Yale and Harvard (though not quite sure about Princeton) DOES offer financial aid to all students regardless of citizenship.Sorry, I probably should have been more detailed. When I looked into Yale, Harvard and Princeton for myself, I found that they organised financial aid packages regardless of citizenship (unlike some universities which only offer financial aid to American students, or have completely different processes for international students, and so on.)
You're quite right in saying that you can't apply for all scholarships, grants and aid, but my research gave me the impression that the Ivy Leagues tend to try and accommodate financially for all students who wish to attend, regardless of their citizenship.
One of the most retarded things I have ever heard on this board. No-one gets ranked "in the world". It all depends where you are studying, or if you do the IB or any of the other multitudes of school diploma & similar. As in, I got top in Victoria for English in 2004, but there's absolutely no way possible at all to know "in the world" and frankly it is absolute bullshit what you're saying.I know i guy who came top 10 in the world in physics and chemistry in his A levels, he applied for cambridge for med and they rejected him
Sikhman > Geologic.Shut up already.
so true... repped lol....everyone loves a good cat fight....
lol. sucks to get 100.with a position of 98.5 to 99.5 in the University Admissions Index University Admissions Index (UAI)
When/where was your interview, out of curiosity?nah its not the early offer program. its for international students like you said. if your interested you should call the admission office. you just need to make it clear that you need a decision before their actual release because your offer in aus will lapse
lol but they let prince charles in who is a fucking moronfor bachelor of science at cambridge. u need four A's in a levels so i would say uai 99+. I know i guy who came top 10 in the world in physics and chemistry in his A levels, he applied for cambridge for med and they rejected him
He got a good reference from someone really high up in the Church of England, who also happened to study at the same college for which he was applying.lol but they let prince charles in who is a fucking moron
