you know most of those marriages will breakdown before their kids get to kindergarten. It can evolve into true love -
My boyfriend & I have been together for 14 months, still going strong. His brother got together with a nice girl in year 11, they're now 22, married with their first baby, so there are the cute "happily ever after highschool sweethearts" couples out there, just some kids aren't mature enough to deal with a proper adult relationship.
LOL@you attributing 'happily ever after' at the age of 22.It can evolve into true love -

exactly. my grandparents have been married for 51 yearsLOL@you attributing 'happily ever after' at the age of 22.
give me a fuckin break
I like this comment. Dispite my views on it being ' puppy love ' .. they're not hooking up for money, or simply the need to find someone, etc.. its purely an attraction between two people.Well, I guess you could say it's pure love because it doesn't come with the kind of baggage that older people bring into their relationships later in life.
that 18 month thing is most likely true
i was in love for just about exactly 18months lol
then i didnt care bout her as much as i did before
then we broke up and i dont give a shit...
explain lol
its narrow minded to believe hormone fuelled naiive teenagers and young adults that are likely to change course and beliefs and desires 10 times before they go to bed can all have long lasting permanent relations under the guise of 'love'. quite a few do, and quite a few of those pop out kids, realise its not all cool, and get divorced very early. You guys are cruel, and not very open minded, if you think that Teen love is just puppy love or lust, then that's cool, your opinion, but don't knock others for having different opinions to your own. And as for the "Broke at 25" comment, how can my bf's brother be broke in 3 years time if he's a qualified and employed maths teacher? Pretty sure he's not going to screw up his job anytime soon...
In my opinion, "teen" love would be around 13 or 14 (well logically speaking, thirTEEN, fourTEEN and etc). At such a young age, most teenagers would still have no idea about how the world works. In addition, many teenagers are now influenced by many different social factors such as peer pressure, teen actors/actresses (Zac Efron: HSM star ring a bell?), television series, and even more simply "teh internets"... and the list goes on. Basically as many people above have posted, young people's minds are always moulded and shaped not only by family but also external factors which no one really can control. So for example it may seem cool to have a girlfriend/boyfriend at a young age such as 15 because you may get a higher social status in high school, and this may have been influenced by a television series such as the OC (I'm being very general here).Define "teen".
Also, thanks to puberty every teenager has a different level of maturity. And that's what it comes down to.
Would you believe a 10 year-old if they said they were in love? Of course not. Why not? Because they're not mature enough to be able to recognise it and to view it as objectively as possible.
In reality, it depends upon the individual. The vast majority of twelve year-olds are far too immature to possibly be in love. By the time they reach nineteen, they will be mature enough. Certain people buck this trend.
omg ily 4eva.rep'd sonya
BUT did you fuck herThis person who was my friend for a year..
